2. Watch the Sunset from the Laguna Lookout
While the best time of the day to visit the Laguna Lookout is when the sun is setting in the sky, you can actually have a fabulous time whenever you are there. Panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains, Noosa National Park, and Noosa Heads can be seen from this lookout area. There is a sign that will help you identify everything you are seeing, so you will never need to guess at what you are looking at.
3. Visit the Fairy Pools
You cannot spend time in Noosa and not take the time to visit the fairy pools. You will find the fairy pools along the coastal walk. 7. Explore the Noosa Farmers Market
The Noosa Farmers Market is open on Sunday mornings and exploring it is a must when you are in town. The stalls are filled with fresh produce, homemade foods, seafood, skin products, and so much more. Live music plays in the background, so you may find yourself lingering a little longer than planned. If you happen to miss this farmer’s market, you can also head over to the Noosa Marina Market by the Noosa River. That one stays open a little longer.
8. Go Four Wheeling on Noosa North Shore
You must take the ferry over to the Noosa North Shore to go four wheeling, but it is worth the extra work to get there. As long as the tide is low, you can drive all the way from Rainbow Beach to Double Island Point. This is the best way to see the Teewah Coloured Sands. Please note that you must have a vehicle permit before you do any four wheeling in this area.
9. Take a Ride on the Noosa Ferry
While you can take the Noosa Ferry to many different destinations, you can also simply take a ride on it along the river. You can choose to get off at any of the stops or stay on for the entire journey.
10. Experience the Magic of Hastings Street at Night
You can easily wander along Hastings Street during the day, but it is more magical at night when the fairy lights turn on. You can do a little window shopping at the boutiques before wandering through an art gallery or grabbing a bite to eat at a local restaurant.
